The college experience and the volunteer experience have been completely on different path. But the college courses I have pursued so far have helped me to make my volunteer experience worthwhile. College courses like interpersonal communication and public health have fostered a sense into me that people in crisis need a place to fall back on. This volunteer experience and the members of any group have become such fallback person for those who are in deep crisis.
